Why We Meditate?

There is a reason why meditation has been practiced in many cultures for thousands of years, because its benefits are almost too numerous to mention. Meditation has the potential to ease our suffering and help to create a better life on physical, emotional, mental, psychological and spiritual level. Meditation is simply to make a choice to focus your mind on something for a specific length of time, which will lead to prolonged awareness! Every second of life we are creating or constructing our reality through what we think about and what we take in from our environment. Over time we develop habits regarding what we think as well as habits regarding what we take in. For example, you may find that you are very stressful and pessimistic and like to watch or read all the bad news from around the world. You may find that you fantasize about what you would like your life to be and read romantic novels on a daily basis. Since unconsciously we are meditating all the time, the question is "what are we choosing to meditate on?"As long as we are always thinking why not consciously focus our mind on positive and beneficial subjects? Why not use meditation to learn how our mind and emotions work and develop positive habits of mind, body and spirit?In this way we can develop our potential as a human being - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.Meditation is about turning inward, to the deepest core of who we really are and creating that space of peace within that outside factors can't disturb or take it away from us, and with time and practice we will be the ones who peacefully affect outside situations.
Session duration is 60 mins and we start with Pranayamas or Breathing exercises (similar to what we do in Yoga Classes) to prepare the mind for Meditation, then will practice different types of meditation each session, so you will get to know variety of meditation techniques and what works best for you.

You just need private quiet space at home, wearing comfortable cloths and joining us for an amazing inward journey to yourself!
